The Birgi Village
From our homestay it is possible to visit the entire village of Birgi Vecchi on foot. Walking through the small streets, or crossing the vineyards, it is possible to reach the sea in less than 2 minutes.
The location is also strategic for all the kiters who want to stay next to the spot to be able to go kitesurfing by foot or bicycle.
Panorama
From the large rooftop terrace of Villa Licari, with a 360 ° open view, our guests can experience at full the panorama overlooking the Stagnone lagoon, and breathe the fresh, clean, and salty air of the sea.
Other than the lagoon and the Stagnone Islands, from our attic it is also possible to see the endless vineyards that surround it, the Village of San Teodoro facing the open sea, the Aeolian Islands (Favignana, Levanzo, and Marettimo), and the nearby Mount Erice.
Eco-sustainability
Contributing to the preservation of the Isole dello Stagnone nature reserve, and Sicily in general, is a responsibility of both visitors and locals.
In 2021 Villa Licari was completely restored, with particular attention to eco-sustainability. The Villa now features a photovoltaic system and an accumulator that help to significantly reduce the impact of the structure and its CO2 emissions.
