Villa Licari overlooks the famous kitesurfing area of the Stagnone, which can be easily reached on foot from our kite house.

Lo Stagnone di Marsala is undoubtedly one best places to learn and practice kitesurfing in the world. In fact, the lagoon offers perfect conditions, both for those who want to learn to kite and for the experts who want to progress and learn new maneuvers.

At Lo Stagnone you will find calm and shallow waters throughout the whole kite area, and constant winds during all months of the year!
The members of our staff are kitesurfing enthusiasts: we will give you useful information about the wind conditions, the best spots in the lagoon, and also in the open sea if you have an advanced level and want to surf some waves.

Sicily Kite Academy

Villa Licari Stagnone offers kitesurfing courses through Sicily Kite Academy. Kitesurf lessons are available for complete beginners, for those who need to finish a course started elsewhere, and for all those who want to improve their technique and learn new tricks!

Come stare in famiglia! Un grazie di cuore a Pippa, Gianfranco, Beata e Marco per aver trasformato il mio soggiorno in un ricordo che mi porterò dentro per sempre. Struttura nuovissima, camere arredate con gusto e perfettamente funzionali, veranda tranquilla e spaziosa per poter assaporare frutta e prodotti locali messi a disposizione degli ospiti a colazione (per non parlare delle torte fatte in casa di Pippa, una delizia!). A pochi minuti in auto dal B&B si trovano negozi alimentari, bar e supermercati. La posizione è ovviamente comodissima per poter praticare kite al vicino Stagnone (e qui menzione speciale per Sicily Kite Academy!) e godere di tramonti mozzafiato sulle saline e le Egadi. Consigliatissimo.

I was at Villa licari for 11 days and it was wonderful. Very nice new accommodation, air conditioning in the room, small fridge and a great breakfast in the morning. 5-10 minutes walk to the kite spots at LoStagnone. I hope to come back soon. Greetings Max

Impeccably family run hotel. This is not a Bed and Breakfast because they feed you amazing foods ALL DAY LONG!. Different Home baked cakes, brioches, croissants and even tiramisu. Spotless clean. We thought that the hotel had just being built because everything looks brand new. Marco does an amazing job making sure all guests have what they need. We even tried to invite Pipa and Gianfranco out for some fresh cannoli , but they didn't let us pay. It's the best place to stay if you're into kitesurfing. If you do, go to Matteo Gatti's Sicily Kiteboarding school. Another family run business with a personal touch. Matteo and son Tomasso will accommodate your needs (e.g.,change kite size). DON'T MISS THE BEST SUNSET from their rooftop. I'm trying to upload pics, but it's not working. I'll add them later.

Villetta nuovissima e curata nei particolari, con un terrazzo con vista sul mare splendido. L’accoglienza è delle migliori, orientata a farvi conoscere la zona e a goderne al meglio. Posizione super, vista la vicinanza ai migliori spot per praticare Kite surf e ai locali della zona. Tutto perfetto, torneremo al più presto!

6 Giorni di svago affidati completamente a Marco e alla sua professionalità. Che dire 5 stelle, il propietario dispone di un alloggio (B&B), che oltre a essere veramente elegante, moderno e confortevole si trova a due passi dallo spot per praticare il kite. Per il resto esperienza mistica, Marco alterna professionalità grazie agli istruttori di cui si avvale a una conoscenza del territorio degna di nota, conosce tutto e tutti e se vi serve qulacosa la farà apparire come per magia. Che altro dire consigliatissimo se volete fare kite in Sicilia una volta nella vita dovete passare alla Sicily kite Academy
